JR Turnbull is a family run garden design, landscaping and maintenance business, that was initially set up in 1973 by John and Linda Turnbull. In 1994 their son Mike joined the team to run the landscaping side of the business, after completing a HND (Higher National Diploma) in Landscape Design and Construction.

JR Turnbull provides a personal and tailored service to its clients. It has a well established customer base in and around East Yorkshire. The majority of the work is through recommendations from satisfied clients.

We provide a wide range of services to our customers, these include:
•Private landscaping and design
•Commercial landscaping
•Private maintenance
•Commercial maintenance
We pride ourselves with the knowledge that the majority of our work is received through recommendation. We have established a large, regular client base with some customers using our services for over 20yrs.

All staff are trained and qualified in landscaping and maintenance and can be easily recognised by the JR Turnbull maroon and green uniform. They have a polite and friendly manner and are very approachable.



Private Landscaping
We landscape a range of gardens both large and small for all types of clients.

We offer a design and build service whereby we can design your garden from scratch or incorporate any of your own ideas. Our aim is to provide an outdoor space that suits your needs, whether a low maintenance garden, a garden room, or a garden full of all year round colour and interest.

We also work for a number of landscape architects/designers from around the local area




Commercial Landscaping
We work with several quality, local builders, some of whom we have worked alongside for over 20yrs. We also work on industrial sites, which involves both hard and soft landscaping.

We have landscaped several schools providing them with improved play ground facilities




Private Maintenance
We maintain gardens around the Hull & East Riding Area. The gardens we maintain are predominately larger sized gardens as we have the capacity to look after these.

Our staff work in teams of two usually with at least one of them having an excellent knowledge of gardening.

You will always find them very helpful and keen to please.

Our rates are by the hr or on a fixed price basis, whichever suits your needs.

•One off Winter/Spring garden tidy ups
•Lawn weed and feed treatments
•Scarifying
•Shrub and small tree pruning



Commercial Maintenance
We maintain a wide variety of sites in and around Hull, these include:

•Building sites
•Residential areas
•Industrial sites
•Retirement homes
•Factories
•Commercial premises

•Grass cutting & collection
•Hedge cutting
•Weed killing
•Litter picking
•Shrub bed maintenance & pruning
