Contract Flooring and Interiors (CFI) is an independent flooring and refurbishment contractor based at Priory Park in Hull. We bring commitment and the highest standards to every project, from large scale to specialist environments, to bespoke floor coverings. From our Yorkshire base we operate countrywide, whatever the scale and scope of the project. Our quantity surveyors will advise, if required, on the most suitable type of flooring for your project, and we can also work to architect's specification. We have many direct accounts with suppliers and because of our reputation and ongoing supplier partnerships we are extremely price competitive.

Recent Projects
St James Hospital Leeds
Working for our client BAM Construction , the demands of this project ranged from vinyl laboratory flooring to carpet tiles for offices and seminar rooms in the 6,000 squ.m. Institute of Molecular Medicine and Cancer Research. Integral to the project was the fitting of Freudenberg rubber flooring to a 10-storey staircase.

DEFRA , Cambridge
Our team of fitters laid carpet tiles in DEFRA's new offices in Cambridge for our client Kajima. 13,500 sq.m. of carpet tiles were required for this impressive project.

Endeavour High School
Endeavour, one of the largest schools in Yorkshire, was built to provide a flagship for other Hull schools. Under the terms of the £200,000 contract we fitted non-slip vinyl, wood effect vinul, carpet, linoleum and sports flooring.

Hull College
Within this busy college, we supplied and fitted carpet tiles, vinyl sheet, wood strip vinyl flooring to three separate buildings: Learning Resource, Creche, and Media/Performing Arts. Solid wood was utilised for the dance floors within the Performing Arts Building.

RNIB
We are happy to undertake bespoke projects, such as the incorporation of specific designs into flooring. One such project was for the Royal National Institute for the Blind where its distinctive logo was incorporated into carpet tiles.

The finished effect was accomplished using specialist laser cutting techniques to achieve an individual and impressive corporate environment.

Northern Schools
Our ongoing working relationship with East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Hull City Council schools provides us with an opportunity to demonstrate our expertise in a wide variety of flooring materials. These include vinyl, carpet tiles, safety, anti-static and rubber flooring and rubber matting. We also supply a wide range of blinds for schoolrooms - antiglare for computer rooms, heat reflective and curtains for stages and halls.

Health and Safety
CFI is accredited to CHAS, Safecontractor and Constructionline. High standards of health and safety are integral to our philosophy and working practice. Maintaining safety standards is vital for our staff, other trades, clients and the general public and to this end we employ an Institute of Occupational Health And Safety Officer and a FEBOSH consultant to oversee all our projects.

All fitters attend a Health and Safety Training Course which is updated every two years. Fitters are issued with an appropriate range of personal protective equipment which is regularly checked, and all employees working on-site are issued with a CSCS card.
